If your KNOPPIX pointer will not integrate with your mouse pointer:
the command at the boot line is-- Knoppix I8042.noloop. Works for me,
and that wording makes eminent sense. Doesn't it? <G>

The boot command is time sensitive and will default in a few seconds to a
no-parm boot, so put it in right away and hit enter. I am running
Knoppix in a virtual machine under MS VM 2007.
